Regulatory Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Project Manager to develop a cross-functional vision of Corporate & Investment Banking activities, interact with a wide range of people, and develop regulatory expertise in financial market activities.

About the Role:
  • Lead improvement and transformation projects within the global scope of SG Corporate & Investment Banking
  • Provide services required to successfully carry out projects and identify improvements to processes and tools
  • Manage the regulatory project portfolio and deliver expected elements necessary for proper project execution
  • Handle regulatory issues with operational impact and provide regulatory expertise service
  • Take charge of tax-related projects for global market activities of SGCIB (HIRE Act 871m, FTT, FATCA, CRS, CARF, 1446f, etc.)
Your Future Scope of Responsibility:
  • Contribute to project scoping by analyzing existing processes and participating in project governance definition
  • Propose organizational solutions and work with IT teams to obtain IT solutions
  • Participate in project implementation by drafting Business Requirements, framing, and executing test plans, and coordinating Corporate & Investment Banking actors
  • Participate in change management preparation, implementation, training, support, and functional assistance to users
  • Organize and lead project committees, manage timelines, and anticipate risks
  • Ensure quality of deliverables (content, formalization, clarity, readability, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with partners, respond to queries with reactivity
  • Secure market activities to US tax obligations
  • Implement solutions to ensure compliance of market activities with Financial Transaction Taxes
  • Prepare future 871m regulations on non-delta One products
Profile Required:
  • Master's degree or equivalent, preferably financial or economic
  • At least 5 years' professional experience as a project manager in banking industry or financial services sector
  • Knowledge of financial products and their front-to-back lifecycle
  • Ability to lead project committees and coordinate with senior management
  • Fluent command of English
  • Excellent communication skills, effectively communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail with methodical approach
  • Rolled-up sleeve positive and delivery-focused approach, capable to combine Business analyst and Project management tasks
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in varied, fast-paced environment
  • Expertise in tax regulations and financial industry standards is a plus
  • Knowledge of French is a bonus
