About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Dimension Inspector. This role is based in Poland, Lodzkie region, and involves working on site.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct dimensional checks and supervise dimensional checks on compressor parts (casings, casing heads and internals).
2. Clarify dimensional issues and tasks with suppliers across Europe and ensure quality of parts.
3. Work with suppliers and define solutions after consulting with headquarters.
4. Meet Siemens Energy requirements for each part.

Impact You'll Make

1. Carry out and witness inspections (dimensional checks, surface quality, dimensional accuracy and other geometric characteristics) as needed.
2. Test interaction of individual components and assemblies to guarantee functionality.
3. Record and log component markings for traceability.
4. Optimize test procedures.
5. Perform statistical evaluations, create analyses and reports.
6. Evaluate according to specifications.

Your Background

• Completed education in metallurgy (mechatronics technician, cutting machine operator, industrial mechanic).
• High willingness to travel (70-80% of working time) in Europe.
• Experience in quality assurance / quality control.
• Independent and flexible work style.
• Good knowledge of MS Office / SAP (desirable).
• Assertiveness and high level of commitment.
• Experience in measurement technology (manual and CMM).
• Fluent English language skills.
