About the job

The Accounting Shared Service Center is looking for a Contracts Specialist for EMEA/AP to oversee and manage all aspects of the administration of new and existing consulting services contracts with customers. Oversee the administration of contracts with subcontractors hired to provide customer-related consulting services. Provide guidance to Consulting Services, Legal, and Sales to aid in the negotiation of contracts to ensure invoicing terms are accurate, manageable, and align with company finance policies.

As a Contracts Specialist, you will:

  • Review and assess customer contractual documents for new consulting services which often require non-routine contract management.
  • Create consulting services projects, perform ongoing project accounting, and maintain project integrity in the invoicing system.
  • Review and assess subcontractor contract documents, submit related purchase order requests, and process subcontractor invoices.
  • Establish a framework for administering non-standard contracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, company policies, and customer expectations.
  • Understand and assess implications of proper revenue recognition, global intra-company allocations, and other issues related to the management of assigned contracts.
  • Prepare customer invoices within tight monthly deadlines, and maintain associated back-up documentation, in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Work closely with consulting services, finance, legal, and other contracts staff to provide optimum consulting contract administration and project accounting.

Required Qualifications

  • Related contract administration experience, preferably involving computer software or hardware or consulting services, including direct customer contact responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
