- Implement vendor mapping through new supplier discovery, benchmarking and alternative suppliers.
- Maintain relationships with vendors to deliver product development and margin plans.
- Ensure project milestones are delivered on time, promoting cross-functional collaboration.
- Guarantee minimum standards and Kingfisher sustainability policy compliance.
- Manage KIPL contracts and data collection for article and vendor set up.
- Adhere to sourcing processes using CPC, Project Management and Contract Management systems.
- Deliver OEB vendor strategy to ensure competitive tenders.
- Organise SRM programme for Key Strategic vendors, understanding capabilities and risks.
- Implement sourcing 2.0 approach within your footprint.
- Manage sourcing team activities and supplier selection.
- Manage forecasting and delivery of KPIs through structured monitoring and reporting.
- Build negotiation framework and strategy through setting targets and objectives.
- Ensure fact-based negotiations through cost breakdown and LPP analysis.
The successful candidate will have extensive negotiation experience, managing end-to-end processes and vendor onboarding. You will identify opportunities for component sourcing and manage 'design to cost' processes. Proficiency in English and international business is required, with around 30% travel involved.
