What you'll be doing:

We are looking for a Sustainable Procurement Data Expert to develop and manage tools that enable Avon to collect, analyze, visualize, and report procurement data related to sustainability. In this role, you will transform data into clear and actionable insights, helping our teams identify and manage sustainability risks, ensure compliance, and drive positive impact across our supply chain.

You will work closely with key teams, including the Sustainable Procurement team, Procurement CoE, the Central Sustainability team (including the ESG reporting lead), and other sustainability and data experts across the organization.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and enhance sustainable procurement data and visualization tools, including databases, scorecards, supplier risk assessments, and compliance data in platforms like SEDEX, Ecovadis, and Worldly.
  2. Provide accurate and timely data analysis, visualizations, and reporting for sustainable procurement KPIs and ad hoc requests.
  3. Collaborate with Sustainable Procurement managers, Procurement teams, and suppliers to collect, analyze, and address data gaps.
  4. Ensure compliance with sustainable procurement policies through internal controls, due diligence, and data quality assurance.
  5. Support and train teams on tools, driving digital upskilling for internal stakeholders.
  6. Work cross-functionally (Procurement CoE, R&D, IT) and externally (suppliers, industry associations, service providers) to resolve data quality or process issues and optimize tools.
  7. Stay informed on supply chain sustainability trends and developments in data management.

What We're Looking For:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in data analysis, procurement, sustainable procurement, supplier sustainability, or sustainable supply chain data management.
  2. Proficient in Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, ETL processes (Alteryx, KNIME, RapidMiner), SQL, Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas), PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint; Microsoft Access knowledge is a plus.
  3. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills; High learning agility; Positive attitude, proactive and results-oriented; Solid teamwork skills and high need for accuracy and attention to detail; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Knowledge of Procurement relevant systems & platforms will be of additional value (e.g., Ariba, Service Now, Horizon, FLO, JD Edwards Enterprise One (E1), Specright, Supply Shift, Ecovadis, SEDEX, Worldly, carbon accounting, and supply chain traceability software).
  5. Knowledge of & interest in sustainable supply chains and responsible procurement practice.
