Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Fund Accounting Expert to join our Private Capital team in Kraków. If you have a passion for accounting, a keen eye for detail, and a drive to optimize processes, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities

  1. Manage and record cash flows, intercompany operations, invoices, and investment transactions in compliance with procedures and deadlines.
  2. Coordinate the team's NAV calculation process and implement stronger operational controls.
  3. Lead process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  4. Review and verify the work of team members to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  5. Reconcile transactions with supporting documentation, maintaining proper records and organization.
  6. Act as a subject matter expert (SME), providing guidance on complex transactions and system challenges.
  7. Mentor and train less experienced team members to support their development.
  8. Participate in department-wide projects and initiatives, sharing insights and expertise.
  9. Prepare reports and handle ad hoc requests from the Luxembourg team, clients, or board of directors.

Requirements

  1. At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in fund accounting or private capital.
  2. Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  3. Detail-oriented with a client-focused mindset.
  4. Awareness of operational and financial risks.
  5. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  6. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  7. Proactive approach and the ability to take ownership of tasks.
  8. Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  10. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
