Staff Software Engineer, Engineering Productivity

In this role, you'll work alongside a group of highly skilled engineers with high autonomy to build and improve tools that our engineers rely on daily. You'll have the opportunity to introduce and refine AI-powered features aimed at making our engineers more efficient, impactful and happy.

What you get to do every day:

  1. Build and support AI tools to simplify development and build processes
  2. Collaborate with users to improve the tool based on their feedback
  3. Lead projects and feature development along with other engineers in the team
  4. Mentor engineers in the team through pairing and code reviews
  5. Share knowledge and learnings across the organization

What you bring to the role:

Required:

  1. Proven ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and manage expectations with executive-level stakeholders (Directors, VPs) to drive strategic alignment and successful outcomes.
  2. Ability to transform visions & roadmaps into reality.
  3. You love problem-solving, investigating issues and discovering the appropriate solution
  4. Expert understanding of Kubernetes, or orchestrating Docker containers.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Expertise in at least one of the programming languages (JavaScript, Go, Python, Java etc.)
  7. Tactics and strategies for engineering productivity internal products to highly technical users in a large multi-product SaaS organization.
  8. Experience with infrastructure management tools (Terraform, Spinnaker).
  9. Ability to collaborate with remote teams.

Nice to have:

  1. Experience working with large language models (e.g. ChatGPT).
  2. Familiarity with Data Collection, Analysis, and Visualization (e.g. DBT, Snowflake).
  3. General knowledge of Engineering Productivity frameworks (e.g. DORA, SPACE)

The Poland annualized base salary range for this position is zł278,000.00-zł418,000.00. Please note that while the salary range represents the minimum and maximum base salary rate for this position, the actual compensation offered will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives that will be communicated during the offer stage.

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
