We are looking for a Java Developer with experience in backend application development. You will join a project focused on developing an advanced system for high-volume message processing, built on Apache Kafka and a microservices architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing new features in line with business requirements.
- Writing unit tests.
- Creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation.
- Implementing fixes, refactoring code, and optimizing performance.
- Participating in code reviews to ensure code consistency and high quality.
- Collaborating within a Scrum team, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- In a later stage of the project: investigating and resolving production issues and supporting the operations team.
Technology Stack: Java 21, Spring Boot 3.5, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, JUnit 5, Gradle, OpenTelemetry.
Infrastructure & CI/CD: Docker, Harbor, RKE2, Jenkins.
Experience required
at least 3 years of experience in Java backend development.
practical knowledge of Apache Kafka.
experience with Docker and application containerization.
knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven processing.
Nice to have:
- k nowledge of Angular.
