Join Varroc, a global leader in automotive innovation, as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in our R&D department, where you'll play a pivotal role in designing state-of-the-art solutions that shape the future of the automotive industry. In this collaborative role, you'll work alongside a talented team to develop and refine mechanical systems that enhance performance, safety, and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for fulfillment of project objectives: delivery of robust, proven, and reliable product in the required time, quality, and costs.
  • May be assigned to the Lead Mechanical Engineer (LME) role on the project, increasing responsibilities based on the relevant job description.
  • Provides technical support within the mechanical construction during product development leading to successful introduction into production.
  • Develops concepts for innovative products concerning feasibility, cost, lifespan, customer, and legal requirements.
  • Applies the best Varroc design and process practices, standard parts, Lessons Learned, CAD standards and methodology, and specific customer requirements.
  • Participates in creating and updating DFMEA.
  • Cooperates with external and internal customers and suppliers from first product concepts.
  • Cooperates in the creation of CAE plan, DV/PV plan, component test, and certification in compliance with Varroc and customer specifications as well as legal requirements.
  • Actively works within the team to support successful DV / PV and delivery of PPAP on time.
  • Participates in customer & quality audits for given products/projects if required.
  • Provides technical support to new business development (i.e. RFQ, BOM, presentation, feasibility).
  • Supports creation, maintenance, and updates of Varroc design guidelines and rules.
  • Performs other activities according to the superior's instructions, which do not contradict the positions of the position.
  • Works in compliance with prescription of safety and health protection (BOZP) & fire protection (PO); internal regulations and applicable legislation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanics, Robotics or similar.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Catia V5 software.
  • English on advanced level (C1).
  • Knowledge in mechanical design, plastic injection technology, and tool design.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Windows.
  • Good CAD skills.
  • Good knowledge of GD&T.
  • Good knowledge of DFMEA.
  • Driving license.
