Job Responsibilities
  • Create automated tests for features developed by the development team
  • Gather requirements regarding the scope of testing
  • Create and document test scenarios
  • Integrate created tests into CI/CD
  • Improve the testing process and tools used for automation
  • Report bugs and document test results
  • Assist with manual testing when needed
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • 2+ years of professional quality assurance/software development experience
  • Proficiency in Python - ability to write automated tests in this language
  • Experience working with Web APIs - ability to create and test GET, POST requests, etc.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes - ability to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with version control system GIT/GitHub - ability to manage source code
  • Requirements analysis - ability to understand project requirements and identify test cases
  • Test case creation - ability to define and document test scenarios based on requirements
  • Basic knowledge of command-line interfaces - ability to use CMD, PowerShell, and Linux terminal
  • Problem-solving skills - ability to diagnose and resolve issues in code and tests
  • Teamwork and communication skills - ability to collaborate with other team members
  • Continuous improvement - willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies and tools
Nice to have:
  • Ability to write Bash scripts - experience in automating tasks in Linux systems
  • Testing frameworks - experience with frameworks such as Pytest, Unittest, Selenium, Postman/Newman
  • Experience in performance and security testing of APIs - ability to analyze application performance
  • Basic knowledge of computer networks - understanding of protocols and network architecture
  • Test management tools - familiarity with test management and reporting tools such as JIRA
