This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career with the experience of working with a Global technology company, based in Poland. The role is hybrid, but the candidate must live in Poland.

The core hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am-6pm, working 40 hours per week. Occasionally it may require later start/finish to overlap with NA team.

As a Lumen Senior Finance Analyst, you will provide financial and business analysis in support of the Product FP&A Unit Costing organization while supporting consolidated results of product sales & revenue. The analyst will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of key cost components and corresponding drivers that impact product expense, margins, and revenue. This includes but is not limited to preparing financial cost models, budgets, forecasts, deep-dive analysis into key variance questions, and margin evaluation. Further, the analyst will be responsible for understanding underlying business trends, drivers and working with stakeholders to recommend and pursue appropriate courses of action. The role will frequently work with Product stakeholders and cross-functionally with Corporate FP&A and Accounting to sync on results, provide insight, and drive recommendations.

The Main Responsibilities
  • Develop unit costing models to enable insights into product pricing, quotes, and deals that fall within profitability guidelines
  • Interpret financial data to determine and understand the trends of the business and root causes driving expense and margin results
  • Anticipate process obstacles and decide next steps
  • Utilize multiple systems to bring data together and provide analysis on operational activities
  • Detailed knowledge of the business they support and how their role impacts the profitability of the company
  • Provide professional advice, guidance, and service to internal clients regarding financial and analytical support
  • Budgeting and forecasting analysis of key drivers
  • Partner with internal clients to provide financial data, consultation and make recommendations regarding completion of objectives, and improving operational effectiveness
  • Gather and organize data used to prepare financial/business reports
  • Perform financial data analysis to support the business in analyzing corporate financial targets and operational objectives
  • Generate special ad hoc reports and perform analysis as requested by supervisor, business partners/clients, and other stakeholders
  • Improve partnerships with key internal clients by identifying changing business needs, service expectations, quality and format of data provided, and identify opportunities to improve service levels
What We Look For in a Candidate
  • Minimum 2-3 years related experience
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Highly advanced skills with Excel functions & Pivot tables
  • Prior experience retrieving financials from Hyperion Essbase Excel Add-in interface
  • Advanced skills with PowerPoint and presenting to a large wide-ranging audience
  • PowerBI report building through database connections
  • Ability to structure and convey ideas and information, both verbally and in written presentation form, in a concise, effective, and persuasive manner to bring clear understanding to the target audience
  • Ability to examine data from multiple sources to determine whether correlation and linkage exist between data sets
  • Ability to organize and manage work in an efficient and effective manner to ensure tasks, milestones, and goals are met according to defined timelines
