Are you planning already or interested in relocating to Leeds?

Introduction

Qualiteach Yorkshire are supporting a leading alternative provision in Leeds who are growing their team in September and are looking for a new specialist teacher to join them. This could suit a secondary subject teacher or a primary trained teacher. Ideally, you will have experience supporting learners within a specialist environment; however, the school is open to mainstream teachers looking for a move into a specialist setting. This is a permanent appointment.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver fun and engaging lessons to learners with SEMH, Autism, and other complex learning needs.
  2. Create a safe and positive learning environment.
  3. Manage and support behaviour mentors, teaching assistants, and other support staff across the school.
  4. Support the SLT and wider school community.
Requirements
  1. PGCE with QTS.
  2. Experience delivering lessons to learners with SEN.
  3. Full-time availability from September.
  4. Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
