We are searching for Chief Accountant responsible for the preparation and declaration of financial statements according to IFRS, tax returns and compliance with internal controls and external regulations. You work closely with our team and auditors to continuously optimize financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit and explain monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS
• Prepare tax calculations CIT, VAT, INTRASTAT, transfer pricing
• Close cooperation with European HQ and Controlling team
• Cooperating with external institutions (GUS, NBP)
• Perform postings, account reconciliations, and general ledger and subledger reconciliations
• Manage and develop accounting team
• Improve accounting processes

Qualifications

• Completed studies with focus on finance and accounting, alternatively accountant or also tax consultant
• At least 3 years of professional experience in an international corporate environment or in auditing
• Sound accounting knowledge and very good analytical skills
• Financial statement security according to IFRS and Polish GAAP
• Very good Excel skills and ERP system knowledge
• Fluent written and spoken English
