Kraków, PolandWork Mode: Hybrid (2 days/week from office – mandatory)Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Payments) with strong domain expertise to join a dynamic team supporting critical banking payment systems. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to define and deliver backend solutions, particularly APIs, within a highly regulated financial environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for payments-related systems
* Define requirements for backend products and APIs* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and ISO standards* Support integration with interbank payment systems, including Elixir* Create process flows and documentation using BPMN/Visio or similar tools* Perform data analysis and validation using basic SQLRequired Skills & Experience* 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the payments domain* Strong knowledge of payment systems and processes* Experience working with backend systems and API requirements* Understanding of ACH and SWIFT* Knowledge of regulatory and ISO standards in payments* Hands-on experience with SQL (basic level)* Proficiency in MS Excel and Visio / BPMN toolsPreferred Qualifications* Familiarity with the Polish banking ecosystem
* Polish language skills (preferred, not mandatory but advantageous)
* Experience working with large financial institutions
