Job Overview:

Brown Brothers Harriman is recruiting a Transfer Agency - Senior Transaction Processing Representative to join our team.

This role involves processing trades and related tasks for funds BBH acts as Registrar.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process trades on relevant dealing days
  2. Validate and approve Transfer Agency transactions
  3. Review and discuss issues requiring escalation with Supervisors or Managers
  4. Update Fund Accounting and client on trading activity
  5. Issue shareholder correspondence: contract notes and other transaction confirmations
  6. Work closely with Supervisors on audit and other requirements
  7. Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to daily
  8. Update procedures as needed for continuous improvement
  9. Respond to and resolve client and shareholder queries
  10. Stay knowledgeable of changing industry initiatives
  11. Establish contacts with all areas and levels at interdepartmental level

Qualifications:

  1. BA/MS degree and/or equivalent work experience
  2. Minimum of 2-3 years of Transfer Agency experience or alternatively in Finance industry
  3. Prior experience working in a client servicing focused work environment
  4. Attention to detail and proven ability to handle complexity
  5. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities given broad portfolio of clients
  6. Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate initiative
  7. Proven ability to adapt to change and problem solving
  8. Good knowledge of standard Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  9. Knowledge or prior experience of Multifonds is an advantage
