How You Will Make an ImpactDesign and develop high-performance, real-time software systems using modern C++ (C++17/20) for mission-critical power grid applicationsImplement and optimize multithreaded architectures, asynchronous I/O, synchronization mechanisms, and low-latency communication frameworksDrive software performance improvements through profiling, scalability optimization, memory management, and reduction of latency bottlenecksDevelop and maintain integrations between native C++ components and managed runtime technologies such as .
NET and RustParticipate in architecture reviews, technology roadmaps, code modernization initiatives, and design of secure, scalable software solutionsEnsure high software quality through code reviews, testing, and application of engineering best practices including SOLID, KISS, and DRY principlesSupport cross-platform development, build systems, containerized solutions, and deployment across Linux and Windows environmentsCollaborate with product, engineering, and customer stakeholders to transform complex requirements into efficient technical solutionsYour BackgroundUniversity degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field6+ years of experience in software development, including senior-level experience with modern C++ (C++17/20)Strong expertise in multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, asynchronous programming, and real-time system designExperience with cross-platform development, CMake, Visual Studio, Linux, Windows, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecturesProven experience in software architecture, performance optimization, testing methodologies, and secure software developmentFluent in English with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in international teamsIn Addition, the Following Skills Would Be Beneficial for the RoleExperience with Rust development and interoperability with C++ systemsPractical experience with power grid management, monitoring systems, or energy industry applicationsKnowledge of industrial automation systems such as SCADA, IEDs, and RTUsExperience with industrial protocols including IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3, OPC UA, and IEEE C37.118Experience working directly with utility or power grid customersUnderstanding of power system operations, industry standards, and critical infrastructure software requirementsMore
