Allegro’s Delivery Experience area is looking for a strategic and visionary Engineering Manager to lead backend engineering teams powering our partner settlement and logistics platform. Here's why you should join us:

  • Spearhead key engineering initiatives that take Allegro’s logistics capabilities beyond our platform. You will lead teams building solutions that open up our delivery infrastructure to external e-commerce partners across the region.
  • Lead the critical settlement and financial reconciliation flows connecting Allegro with a wide network of logistics carriers and business partners. Your teams’ systems ensure end-to-end transparency, financial accuracy, and fraud prevention across millions of daily shipments.
  • Guide engineering teams building on a modern, high-throughput backend stack based on Java, Kotlin, and the JVM ecosystem. You will drive technical excellence, system resilience, and architectural scalability across distributed services.
  • Act as a "leader of leaders," shaping technical strategy, driving delivery, and collaborating closely with Product Management and Senior Leadership. You will bridge complex logistics and financial operations with robust, scalable engineering solutions.

Important things for you:

  • Overseeing the reliability, and accuracy of high-scale financial settlement flows, carrier cost calculations, and partner billing platforms.
  • Acting as a trusted bridge between senior stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams - translating complex business expectations into reliable technical solutions.
  • Driving predictable engineering delivery, managing cross-domain dependencies, and tracking delivery milestones and system health metrics.

  • Demonstrate strong business acumen and communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior leadership and collaborating with non-technical business partners.
  • Are passionate about people leadership, mentoring team leads and engineers, and creating an autonomous, delivery-focused team culture.
