Aker Solutions together with Randstad, is currently looking for an independent accountant who will join the team and strengthen capabilities in the brand-new Gdańsk office.

• responsibility for the correct calculation and declaration of taxes, including VAT, CIT, and withholding tax
• verifying tax data within the company
• ensuring compliance of accounting documents with applicable tax and accounting regulations
• booking all documents, including those related to imports, leasing, and employee business trips
• responsibility for preparing and submitting statutory financial reports in accordance with legal requirements
• coordinating cooperation with external suppliers in the areas of accounting and tax consulting
• supervising the flow of accounting documents within the company
• participation in the accounting month-end closing process
• collaboration in the implementation of the ERP system (SAP)

• professional experience in accounting in a similar position
• knowledge of tax and accounting regulations – proficiency in VAT and CIT regulations
• proficient knowledge of the English language at a minimum B2 level
• experience in accounting documents related to import, leasing, and business trips
• skills in reconciling general ledger accounts – experience with general ledger accounts and VAT settlements
• knowledge of ERP systems (SAP)
• experience in preparing and analyzing tax documents
• practical experience in the month-end closing process, including the preparation of financial reports and statements
