Procurement Assistant Manager - Packaging - Tubes Europe

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be:- Design the buying strategy aligned with the Business Groups' strategic needs across the world.
- Supplier Relationship Management responsibility and accountability.
- Support the Global Procurement FDT Manager for global negotiations or local/regional tenders & negotiations on specific parts of the Flexibles portfolio.
- Develop suppliers and new origins in line with business growth and innovation priorities.
- Communicate and execute supply strategies and maintain connections with key Business Units/Business Groups.
- Follow market conditions, and lead price forecasting cycles.
- Ensure execution of contract negotiations in the regions, leveraging business and digital tools for support as needed.
- Support the business with accurate price forecasting and prepare information on purchase prices and conditions for budgeting and cash forecasting.
- Drive portfolio management together with relevant material expert teams.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams for Innovation and Rejuvenation when required.
- Support on delivering the material cost savings target via Smart Buying and Smart Product.
- Accountable for the execution of ASA/AMA projects for resilience or 5S reasons.
- Support on regulatory related topics and Supplier escalations to ensure business continuity.
- Lead and support delivery of Sustainability projects.
- 3-4 years of experience in a procurement role; packaging experience is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience in delivery of Cost, Saving, and Portfolio related projects.
- Experience in stakeholder and supplier management.
- Fluency in verbal and written communication in English.

- Experience in releasing and managing Tender and Auction
