We are looking for a dedicated IT Business Analyst to strengthen our IT team. This role focuses on analyzing business needs and creating functional and technical solutions to drive innovation.

Your Role

The position is to cover the role of IT Business Analyst for our core platform AirLOG which supports Air Forwarding all over the world. You will be joining a global team of engineers and analysts and you will design and build products to provide innovative solutions to delight your customers. You'll work closely with our Air Logistics Team to find the best technical and functional solution for new feature requests to support and enhance our Air Logistics services.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage requirements by helping businesses implement technology solutions efficiently, defining use-case needs, and communicating them to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing requirements, effectively documenting and conveying them to business stakeholders and developers for solution development.
  • Collaborate with business experts and architects to clarify functional requirements.
  • Elicit, document, and model functional and technical system requirements to ensure clear implementation.
  • Prepare functional and technical design documentation following established patterns for consistency.
  • Develop a system handbook for super users and system administrators based on implemented functionalities.
  • Conduct gap analysis, propose solutions, and refine upcoming tasks within the team.
  • Actively contribute to team best practices, challenge processes for improvement, and optimize product development.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Degree in Information Technology or proven experience, with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst, gathering/defining business requirements and re-engineering business processes.
  • At least 2 years of experience with UML methodologies; experience with Enterprise Architect is a plus.
  • Experience with version control solutions and the ability to analyze and solve problems with a holistic view of the ecosystem.
  • Strong interest in design methodology and functional specification, with the ability to work in an Agile environment.
  • Experience in facilitating discussions and leading focus groups with various levels of end-users.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, along with strong listening, interpersonal, and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
  • A team player who is committed to delivering the best possible results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with an innovative, creative, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and result-driven personality.
