As a Lab Engineer, you will be a core member of the software/firmware development team. You will participate in the design, creation, and assembly of the test beds for embedded systems. You will be responsible for maintaining the laboratory of more than Linux-based test-beds.

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Lead operations of the team for a set of testing activities performed in the laboratory.
  2. Design and configuration of new test-beds (create prototypes, approve with engineering teams, integrate into the testing process).
  3. Updating test-beds environment using Ansible.
  4. Troubleshoot and fix issues related to test-beds, lab infrastructure, and network.
  5. Automate and simplify laboratory processes to increase efficiency.
  6. Infrastructure monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana. Perform system configuration, metrics collection, creation of dashboards, alerts.
  7. Cooperate with suppliers to order components and equipment for the laboratory.
  8. Support engineering teams to solve problems connected to testing activities in the laboratory.
  9. Create and improve documentation.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Technical high school degree in electrical, mechanical, electronic or similar specialization.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of related experience as a Lab Engineer / System Administrator / QA Engineer.
  3. Experience in support of microprocessor-based digital and/or analog circuitry and power electronics.
  4. Knowledge of computer networks and WiFi.
  5. Strong Linux knowledge.
  6. Understanding of electrical and basic electronics principles.
  7. Soldering experience.
  8. English B1 or higher.
  9. Analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  10. Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  11. Knowledge of Health and Safety rules in laboratory rooms.
  12. Basic experience with scripting languages: bash or Python.
  13. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  14. 3+ years of experience in a Consumer Electronics lab environment.
  15. Experience with embedded systems and consumer devices.
  16. Superior analytical skills, including strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems.
  17. A good understanding of network configuration and troubleshooting.
  18. Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  19. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of working effectively with development engineering and other functions.
