What about the role?

The Project Manager (GBS) role is a key member of the GBS Transition & Process Excellence, providing strong project and programme capability to the organisation. The Project Manager will actively develop and mature the function in accordance with best practice and support project delivery activity across the CoE and the Group Finance Change function.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Manage designated projects, ensuring delivery of project objectives
  • Proactively engage stakeholders through clear communication
  • Deliver results through others
  • Manage project risks and mitigation actions
  • Focus on business requirements and understanding of the end-to-end process
  • Ensure robust project documentation is in place
  • Standardise project delivery and best practice
  • Develop tools, templates, and systems for successful project delivery
  • Apply standard project methodologies and agility
  • Support project and programme governance
  • Assure project and programme quality
  • Provide clear, concise, and insightful reporting across the portfolio
  • Develop positive relationships with PMs and stakeholders
  • Travel to our Operating Companies in the UK, France, Poland, Romania as required
What you'll bring

What do we expect from you?

  • Strong project and PMO experience and capability (5+ years)
  • Experience in a complex matrix management environment
  • Ability to meet challenging deadlines
  • Experience in identifying and addressing blockers to delivery
  • Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
  • Understanding of successful project management principles and frameworks
  • Comfortable working in a distributed, remote-first environment
  • Ability to identify trends in data and produce high-quality reporting
