Join our Application Server Automation - Platform Engineering team You will collaborate with an amazing group of individuals worldwide to deliver solutions to our application developers and business stakeholders. As a team member, you'll be responsible for architecting, implementing and managing automation for infrastructure and middleware provisioning, as well as building systems to support development initiatives.

About our team

Welcome to Engineering System We're the driving force behind the DevOps culture at Nordea, providing containerized platforms as a service (CPaaS), automating build pipelines and enabling cloud hosting solutions. With a team of over 200 automation and platform engineers, we bridge the gap between business and technology by transforming business requirements into technological implementations.

Main responsibilities in this role:

• Building Continuous Integration and Deployment systems to fully support an end-to-end pipelines for developers and teams (utilizing Ansible, Python, Jenkins, Tekton, Argo CD)
• Creating automation for application servers and middleware provisioning as well as for service deployments
• Developing new features for our middleware on container platforms (such as Kubernetes)
• Conducting regular code reviews and committing the code on a daily basis
• Mentoring and pair programming with junior team members

This is the right role for someone who:

• Is a DevOps Engineer willing to collaborate, take ownership and responsibility for theircode.
• Has passion for IT and the courage to innovate, automate and integrate between technology stacks.
• Is a team player with experience and willingness to work in agile setup.
• Thinks outside the box and is ready to challenge the status quo.
• Has Unix systems experience (shell scripting e.g. Bash)
• Has knowledge of networking in cloud environment.
• Previous Oracle Weblogic and/or OSB/SOA experience is essential
• 5+ years of relevant experience Platform Engineering / Devops
