Your responsibilities, Design and implement scalable and reliable network solutions based on organizational requirements., Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices., Upgrade of network equipment and software., Monitor network performance and fix any network-related issues., Implement and manage network security protocols and operations., Collaborate with different devices to ensure a seamless integration of network systems., Evaluate and recommend network hardware, software, and communication protocols., Document network configurations and changes for reference and future troubleshooting, Cisco switches, Manage Cisco switches, Create Vlans, Manage Vlans, Delete Vlans, Install Cisco Switches, configure Cisco Switches, decommission Cisco Switches, Take backups of Cisco configurations, restore Cisco configurations, Upgrade Cisco Switch firmwares, Do functionality and performance checks, Do trouble shooting, Monitoring of Cisco Switches, Handling breakfix management wise(create case at backup vendor), Do Documentation, Checkpoint Firewall, Manage the Firewall Systems, Create FW rules, Manage FW rules, Delete FW rules, Install FW:s, configure FW:s, decommission FW:s, Take backups of FW configurations, restore FW configurations, Upgrade FW firmwares, Do functionality and performance checks, Do trouble shooting, Monitoring of FWs, Handling breakfix management wise (create case at backup vendor), Do Documentation
Relevant education in computer/IT/network technology or equivalent experience., Experience with network security protocols and firewalls., Experience of working with LAN, WLAN and WAN., Knowledge of security measures and troubleshooting methods., Strong problem-solving skills and good communication skills.
Optional, Certifications such as CCSA, CCSE,CCNA, CCNP., Experience with firewalls and network equipment from manufacturers such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Check Point and Palo Alto.
