responsibilities :
Creating and maintaining pipelines for software deployments, and updates to edge devices on the sailing fleet.
Developing testing and CI/CD pipeline for back-end code running on edge devices (Linux/Windows-based edge PC).
Supporting Digital Twin backend code development.

requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Informatics, Data Engineering, Statistics, Machine Learning, Mechanics, etc.
Min. 3 years of professional programming experience.
Education and/or experience in:
Programming in Python (pandas, numpy, pytest, unittest)
DevOps skills:
software deployment for edge/IoT devices,
cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure),
automated processes, product scale-up, CI/CD (GitHub actions),
containerization (docker/Kubernetes),
version control (git),
Software testing (unit/integration/regression tests),
Time-series databases (InfluxDB & Grafana),
Working in SCRUM or/and Kanban,
Full professional working level proficiency in English.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Readiness for occasional business travel.
Useful to have: distributed computing (Dask / PySpark), agile (Azure DevOps), web development (Django), experience within the maritime industry, mechanics.
