about-project :
The IT Business Analyst monitors and resolves issues with EDI integrations on our platforms.
You will play a vital role in supporting the organization and aligning the information technology solutions with business objectives, using both your knowledge on how systems work together and the strong understanding of business processes. Achieve excellence by establishing EDI integrations on our integration platforms in a quality-driven manner, collaborating with new and existing clients, as well as operations, information systems, and IT teams.

responsibilities :
Support Sylvamo’s EDI/API Integration Cloud environments, including, but not limited to, EDI/API customer/carrier/converter/warehouse/customs partner relationships, EDI mapping, VAN relationships, and application integrations, while ensuring the internal documentation is up to date.
Support data integration by developing and maintaining EDI specifications, mapping,
technical integration artifacts, and supplier and customer configurations.
Collaborate with business teams, suppliers, vendors, and customers to understand and identify their integration requirements to improve the integration process, current offerings, and data quality as well as to build automation solutions.
Collect and convert customer requirements into functional specifications for EDI integrations, onboard new trading partners, maintain relationships with internal and external customers, and deliver new EDI and data integrations to the business.
Address integration problems effectively thorough root-cause analysis, using available tools, and suggesting long-term solutions to ensure smooth functioning.
Interact directly with vendors, internal support teams, application developers and owners, as well as end users to support the EDI and other data integration environments.
Collaborate with EDI trading partners on solution testing and maintenance projects to improve and standardize current EDI integrations.
Enhance your business acumen by learning about business processes and system interactions, creating functional and technical specifications for EDI and data integration in Sylvamo business applications.
Build EDI and data integration expertise, technical standards, and related technologies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available technologies and functionalities.
Coach, recommend, and educate colleagues on business processes, integration, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Plan, direct, and participate in small- to large-scale projects, enhancement requests, and business improvement initiatives.
Provide consultative support by developing innovative solutions that effectively drive new opportunities to deliver value to the customers, business, and potentially our suppliers.

requirements-expected :
At least 4 years of experience with implementing integration solutions for EDI.
Proficiency in EDI development, translation, and EDI Data mapping.
Ability to work with Flat File (X12, EDIFACT, Idocs), VDA, TXT/CSV, and XML (Papinet, xCBL, Basda) maps.
Ability to configure various communication protocols like AS2, HTTP, API, OFTP2, etc.
Specific knowledge and demonstrable experience with EDI, preferably developing and supporting X12 maps and equivalent EDIFACT messages using B2B Integrator.
Demonstrated EDI configuration experience, including partner profile setup and business process modeling.
Experience in a supply chain environment and their processes.
Excellent command of English.
Great attention to detail, and the ability to adjust priorities in a continuously changing environment.
Strong business, marketing, and technology acumen, specifically in data analytics.
Problem-solving and root-cause identification skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes and gain stakeholder buy-in, within different levels of our organization and external parties.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to explain technical considerations, alternatives, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical business representatives and negotiate under time pressure.
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative environment.
