SCADA Engineer Miejsce pracy: Gdynia Your responsibilities As an engineer in the SCADA team you will join a team of highly specialised and motivated employees, working with SCADA, protection and control systems for offshore substations.
Your tasks will include, but will not be limited to:
Ensure timely completion of substation SCADA project tasks within budget and according to the rules and standards.
Coordinate the design and engineering of SCADA and Control Systems.
Support the design of Protection and Auxiliary systems while ensuring technical requirements are met.
Manage interfaces to/from other systems and oversee technical management responsibilities.
Create design, construction and project documentation.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment with contract and agreements. Manage and participate in factory and site acceptance tests.
Our requirements We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, passionate about SCADA systems and wants to leave their personal mark on it.
You have practical experience working with similar solutions and installations, and potentially you have “hands-on” experience from working with integrating and getting the systems up and running on a construction site.
A problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.
Familiarity with integrating diverse systems and their functionalities.
Knowledge of SCADA systems and communication protocols (Modbus, DNP, IEC 61850, IEC104).
Knowledge of the OT Security area including IEC62443, NERC CIP, or similar standards.
Educational background in electrical engineering, automation, control, or telecommunication/network.
Great written and verbal communication skills in English as we work internationally.
