CMDB Consultant / Business Analyst Miejsce pracy: Łódź Your responsibilities You will be a member of project team that implements ITSM solutions for external customers. The solution is based on third-party system and aligned with ITIL best practices. During the project you will combine the role of business analyst with CMDB consultant by:
Working closely with external customers: identify needs, gather requirements and analyzing customer's expectations
Modeling business processes with focus on CMDB
Developing a standard for IT configuration management methodology
Suggesting optimizations and areas for improvement
Hosting workshops and meetings with the customer, presenting solutions to stakeholders
Creating a concept of final solutions based on third-party vendors' systems
Close cooperation with technical teams
Maintains Customer data to ensure CMDB accuracy and completeness
Verification whether delivered solution meets business needs
Collaboration within a team of business analysts
Works with other ITSM processes to understand new requirements and identify how Configuration management can support
Our requirements Higher technical degree (IT, systems engineering, IT management or related)
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Configuration Database Management (CMDB) or related areas in IT
Experience working with CMDB tools such as BMC Atrium(CMDB), ServiceNow, Jira Insight (Assets), or other popular configuration management systems
Knowledge of configuration management best practices and standards, including ITIL processes for CMDBs
Experience working with databases, SQL and basic knowledge of data management scripts
Ability to integrate CMDB with other ITSM systems and monitoring and management tools, as well as Discovery systems
Strong analytical skills, ability to identify and solve problems related to configuration data
Attention to detail and thoroughness in maintaining configuration data
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams, including the creation of documentation and reports
Optional Knowledge of ITIL processes, especially in the area of ​​configuration and IT resource managementBasic knowledge of IT configuration management standards and regulations (e.g. ISO/IEC 20000)
IT infrastructure and architecture - general knowledge of issues related to IT architecture and efficient navigation in the area of ​​technology and infrastructure
Willingness to continually develop and update knowledge of configuration management and CMDB tools​
Certifications related to configuration management and ITIL (e.g. ITIL Foundation, ITIL Intermediate for configuration management)
Experience automating configuration management processes using scripts or automation tools
