About the role
Cycode, a cybersecurity startup, is looking for a full-time Senior Golang Engineer (eBPF focused) to join our team. Weâre an enterprise security startup pioneering the cybersecurity industryâs first-ever solution for source code control, detection, and response.

We officially emerged from stealth mid-2019 with backing from YL Ventures and leading cybersecurity executives and experts including Mike Fey (former president & COO of Symantec), Andy Grolnick (former president & CEO, LogRhythm), and Justin Somaini (CSO, Unity Technologies). Weâve been on a roll ever since and are ready to grow our team and reach new milestones.

Responsibilities
Developing high-quality eBPF code while following open source development principles and best practices;
Active participation in the open-source community;
Ability to speak at public conferences about achievements.

Requirements
At least 2-3 years of experience with Golang;
At least 4-5 years of experience with development on Linux platform;
Deep understanding of eBPF;
Experienced with working and developing in the Linux kernel, either using eBPF, as a kernel developer, or building low level programs;
Knowledge of Docker internals;
Knowledge of Kubernetes internals;
Desire to write beautiful and highly efficient code;
Strong knowledge about Linux systems design and either security or networking.

Advantages
Experience in working on open source projects;
Contributor to open source projects (eBPF based is an even greater advantage);
Understanding of the application security technologies and solutions;
Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps technologies.
