Wearable Platform Engineer @ Devire

Your future company The primary global supplier of telecommunications infrastructure, prioritizing innovation, boasts over 70,000 R&D personnel and operates 17 research centers worldwide, including in the U.S., Germany, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Russia, India, and China.
You will be responsible for the wearable platform analysis. Mostly low level like kernel/MCU but also system & application level. Most of your working time will be devoted to dealing with issues coming from the field. You will analyze them, find the root cause, propose solution and final fix. You are expected we well to find issues on your own.

Minimum five years of experience working with any with any wearable OS and application architecture
Proficiency in platform development and maintenance including kernel, system, and applications
Strong skills in C/C++ programming with knowledge of standard libraries
Familiarity with toolchains, cross-compilation, profilers, packaging, and ADB
Understanding of Gradle/Ant/Make Build systems
Proficient in English communication
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Nice to have:
Proficiency in Java/TypeScript with knowledge of standard libraries
Previous experience in delivery or maintenance teams, preferably in mobile phone system maintenance
Familiarity with system profiling and optimization techniques
Practical knowledge of UML diagrams
Understanding of connectivity protocols such as Bluetooth and WiFi
Knowledge of hardware architectures including Arm Cortex-A/m4 and others
