About the Tesco Technology project
Our team is modernizing the technologies used to drive our fulfilment network and depot operations. There are two main areas of our work:
Supporting increased automation within our depots to make them more efficient.
Developing modern applications to support our colleagues drive better outcomes for the business.

Hybrid working
We’ve recently moved to hybrid working. We love working from home, but we also love connecting, collaborating and innovating with our colleagues in person. We meet in our office in Kraków for 2 days a week.

Technology stack which we are using:
Languages : Java 17, Typescript
Frameworks : Spring Boot, React
Cloud : VMWare Private Cloud, Kubernetes, AKS
Architecture : Microservices, CQRS, Event Driven, Reactive
DB / Cache : PostgreSQL, Couchbase, Redis
Testing : TestContainers, Jest, JUnit
Dev / CD Tools : GitHub, Github Actions, Jenkins
Monitoring & alerting : Splunk, New Relic, xMatters
Other : Zendesk & JIRA
You will need:
2+ years of experience developing with Java 11+
Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Experience in test driven development
Experience of designing and developing microservices / REST APIs
Experience with Azure, or other cloud solutions
Exposure to React
Good English communication skills
