Job Overview:
We are looking for an exceptional Data Science Lead with over 8 years of experience to lead our data science team. The ideal candidate is an expert in statistical modelling and analysis with a strong background in machine learning. They must possess excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present insights to stakeholders effectively.

Education:
Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science , or a related field.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in data science , focusing on statistical modelling and analysis.
Proven experience leading data science teams and projects.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in statistical methods, machine learning algorithms , and predictive modelling .
Proficiency in Python or R and experience with data manipulation libraries (such as Pandas, NumPy, etc.).
Experience with SQL and database systems.
Familiarity with AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Athena) or other modern data platforms (possible with other cloud providers like Azure or GCP).
Soft and Language Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to explain complex analytical concepts in simple terms.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities .
Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English is required.
Nice-to-have requirements:
Experience in the financial services sector.
Experience with big data technologies (such as Hadoop, Spark).
Knowledge of data visualisation tools (such as Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with other cloud platforms and open-source data tools.
