Introduction As a Front-End Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing components and features for watsonx.Ai, and would be involved in designing, developing and discussing product delivery & strategy. As a successful individual for this role:
- you should be an avid coder who can get his hands dirty and be involved in the coding to the deepest level, - you will work with other developers in the dev team to maintain and improve code base, - you will work in an Agile environment of continuous deliverable, - you will learn directly from senior members/leaders in this field. Your Role and Responsibilities Developing a viable solution in the Data Science area, Taking the UI designs from UX Designer and developing interfaces based on them, Coming up with creative ideas as appropriate to improve usability, Developing microservices to generate User Interfaces and API based Product capabilities Required Technical and Professional Expertise 3 years of experience in User Interface development with focus on React, Javascript, microservices architecture and design Proficiency in JavaScript programming language Experience with CI/CD pipelines and SCM systems (Github). Experience using open source libraries like D3 Ability to prepare simple mock-ups Ability to write simple unit test cases and develop automation for them Good collaboration, clear communication skills Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Ability to come up with creative ideas and coordinate with Designers Ability to develop simple Docker images deploying an managing them for microservices/APIs in k8s architecture Ability to lead team What we offer:
