As a  DevOps / SecOps Engineer , you will be working for our client, a global financial institution. Your role will involve driving service improvement through automation and innovation, focusing on various aspects of infrastructure management and security.

Your main responsibilities:
Building and maintaining database systems on-premises and in the cloud
Automating workflows and processes to ensure system reliability and efficiency
Implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting for incident management and capacity tracking
Conducting root cause analysis for major incidents and managing service delivery
Collaborating with stakeholders across Cybersecurity and IT teams to develop and maintain protective solutions
Investigating and delivering innovation within the Cybersecurity team for both BAU and strategic projects

You're ideal for this role if you have:
Strong understanding of RedHat (RHEL) and IP networking
Proficiency in Ansible for automation tasks
Good scripting skills for task optimization
Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins
Understanding of Vulnerability and Change Management processes

It is a strong plus if you have:
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS/GCP/Azure,
Implementing observability with tools like Application Dynamics, Splunk, xMatters
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Helm
Databases: MSSQL, PostgreSQL
Containerization, Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes; GKE
Strong analytical skills and ability to work in culturally diverse teams
Code: Bash, Python, PowerShell
Secrets management: Hashicorp Vault
Artifact repository: Nexus
ITIL / Agile delivery experince: Jira, Service Now
Experience with similar but not identical tools also acceptable eg. ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Oracle
Ability to adapt and understand new technologies, with a self-motivated learning attitude
