User Experience is an often cited factor driving our unprecedented customer retention rate. We have built industry leading data tools and visualizations and are looking for experienced engineers that will help us build the next generation of exceptional user interfaces.
We are looking for a Senior Front-end Engineer who can join our efforts in continuing to lead the industry in ease-of-use and customer delights.

As a Senior Front-end Engineer, You Will: Be the CTO of an area, driving the technical direction, and influencing the product roadmap.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer pain points, requirements, dependencies, and priorities.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers through the design, execution, and delivery of multiple features into production.
Be quality gatekeeper, ensuring designs are well conceived, technically sound with few gaps, and solutions are implemented following best practices that meet Snowflake's high quality standards.
Own the operational health of an area, helping in defining the team’s objectives and success metrics, and ensure that appropriate instrumentation and alerts are in place.

Our Ideal Senior Front-end Engineer, Will Have:  Strong product mindset and will prioritize user needs and experience, while also considering the marketability and profitability of the product.
Demonstrated technical leadership experience, such as being an architect or tech lead for high impact customer facing projects.
Significant software development experience, including 10+ years of experience in web UI application development.
Experience in leading engineering teams and proven to make an impact on the team and company level.
Willingness to work as one of UI leaders responsible for strategic alignment across the entire team and contribute to projects outside your primary area of expertise.
Distributed system development experience is a big plus.
Deep understanding of modern web applications design architecture, good API design, design systems, patterns, performance and scale.
Experience in technologies such as Javascript, TypeScript, React, Node, Figma, Python, Go, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Knowledge of popular testing frameworks such as React Testing Library, Puppeteer, Cypress, Playwright.

SALARY
We believe all Snowflake employees have an impact in the long-term success of Snowflake, which is why new hire equity is designed to be a considerable part of your annual compensation. When the price of Snowflake stock rises, we are all rewarded.

At Snowflake, equity is an important part of our total compensation package which is comprised of:
Base salary
Bonus target or sales commission target
Equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)

The total target monthly compensation range for this job is 35,000 PLN – 70,000 PLN
The final compensation offered will vary based on individual experience, skills, and job-based knowledge.
