Position Purpose: We are looking for a hands-on Senior .NET Software Engineer on B2B 12-month contract with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. The role will encompass architecture and development across all tiers of the application stack.
You will be part of a talented engineer team that works on low-latency mission-critical applications. Roles and responsibilities include application architecture and development across full software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing, collaborating with like-minded engineers. Technically leading team of highly skilled software engineers, forging relationships with key stakeholders across diverse user base.
Technology Ecosystem:
Front-End: JavaScript, React/React JS
Back End: C# .Net Core, SQL
Architect: Microservices Architecture, monolithic Architecture
Cloud: Azure, AWS or GC
Responsibilities
Primary Duties will include: Primary focus on server-side development
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle working within Agile methodology
Write well designed, testable, efficient code following design principles/patterns such as Singleton.
Prepare and produce releases of software components
Mentor and support engineers with technical direction and best practises
Support continuous improvement by investigating new technology and presenting for architectural review

Qualifications
To land this role you will need: Minimum 8+ years of experience building global enterprise level systems
Extensive experience developing complex distributed event-based microservices using C#/.Net Core
Knowledge with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
Exposure with distributed messaging / streaming platforms (Apache Kafka)
Involvement building CI/CD pipelines (ideally Azure DevOps)
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases SQL and No-SQL databases
What makes you stand out: Having worked on a global product within a multitude of time zones
Experience with TDD/BDD, testing framework (est/React-testing-library/Junit)
Some experience building web-based applications using React / Typescript
Experience working as part of global Agile team
Education / Certification Requirements: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject or equivalent professional experience
Working environment: Hybrid work from Kraków (2 days from home, 3 days from the office)
