Your career opportunity
We have a unique opportunity for you to join our team and be fully responsible for the scope of delivery of Governance, Standards, and Insights initiatives across the whole of Data and Analytics Office.

You will have a lot of interaction with senior leaders in DAO and their teams, so opportunities to get more involved and build up relationships in these areas. As well as development opportunities within the wider Delivery and Strategy team with involvement in ad hoc tasks and projects in their areas.

What you’ll do
Design high quality presentations and visuals suitable to diverse range of audiences. Ensure consistency in messaging and content across deliverables throughout DAO, locally and globally.
Input to Committees and Governance: Support the smooth running of the DAO Governance process to enable GCDAO to govern Data & Analytics for the Group (Internal and External). Manage internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely inputs, and support with management and delivery of all requirements.
Play a key role in the design of governance/programme templates, development of off-the-shelf content / messages, official comms and analysis, and approvals processes. Set up Knowledge Management (Governance & other DAO function documents) for the wider function to ensure for consistency and alignment.
Lead and support on strategic initiatives within DAO Delivery and Strategy and for the wider DAO organisation, helping develop a community of data professionals, as well as coordination of wider Delivery & Strategy activities and deliverables.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
Familiarity with financial services organisations and more specifically HSBC’s structures, values, behaviours, processes, and objectives.
Previous experience in working within Governance teams, or on Governance activity for programmes/projects.
Project/Change Management skills (project planning and tracking; Issue identification and management; project status reporting).
Proven experience of impactful writing/messaging and creation of content across a variety of topics.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Evidence of problem solving and ability to anticipate challenges.
Ability to plan and organise, understanding how to effectively prioritise to balance conflicting deman
