about-project :
The MSTR Report designer will play a role in the development process for enterprise data management and reporting systems, with a focus on MicroStrategy. This role will be focused building object and attributes, as well as report development in MicroStrategy. The role requires experience with enterprise data models and utilization of both relational and dimensional data sources.

responsibilities :
Read requirements and coordinate with project lead
Create reports, dossiers and dashboards in MicroStrategy Desktop/Web
Create and use prompts and filters
2 -3 years experience creating graphs and charts
Enable drilling and hierarchies in reports
Maintain and organize reports
Create custom groups
Communicate needs back to project lead
Coordinate with validation and promotion teams
Troubleshoot issues in report and data
Using assigned customer data files, review to identify and map various sources
Investigate data sources for validity and accuracy
Review and identify data to determine inconsistencies with format or calculation
Attend team meetings and report on data findings to initiate client data migration planning
Attend training meetings
Other duties as assigned

requirements-expected :
Experience with MicroStrategy Desktop/Web
Ability to read requirement to create, test and deploy reports
Participate in unit testing and QA process
Understanding of the processes of data quality, data cleansing and data transformation
Understanding of Extract Transform Load (ETL) concepts and technologies
Ability to comprehend and write SQL queries and stored procedures
Knowledge of formal database architecture and design
Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline
Self-motivated with a sharp customer focus
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
Results-driven with the ability to take initiatives and meet deadlines
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to work flexible hours to complete client project expectations in a timely manner
Very good written and verbal English skills
