about-project :
A software engineer who can work autonomously within a team to take ownership of product features and develop them from concept to release, and maintain them into the future. The Engineer should have significant technical expertise in backend development (AWS, Node.js, ECS, Lambda) whilst having a strong understanding of all technologies used across the business and are capable of championing best practice and processes. Reporting to the VP of Engineering they should be able to work autonomously within a squad, delivering quality robust well tested code and be confident sharing technical knowledge across the wider team.

responsibilities :
Building, Testing, Shipping and maintaining high quality product features
Writing clear, clean code within the guidelines provided
Working with and improving robust deployment and testing processes
Maintaining a high standard / expert knowledge with a given Stack / Product.
Training and mentoring other squad members.
Sharing knowledge with colleagues and championing process or techniques
Ensuring that best practice code standards and processes are maintained and improved.
BAU implementation and management, to ensure areas of ownership are maintained and optimised.
Passionate about the team and Product .
Agile - In a rapidly changing environment.
Clearly communicate with the stakeholders.
Work with management to ensure overall business objectives and OKRs are met.
Manage and optimise, constantly refining and improving experiences.
Sharing knowledge with the team to ensure the platform is best in class.
A technical hands on senior development role.

requirements-expected :
Typescript + Javascript
NodeJS (ExpressJS)
Excellent understanding of HTTP Methods / Restful
Worked with JSON web services
Good knowledge of GIT (Peer Review, GitFlow or Github flow)
Experience with Automated testing (Jest)
Development of Infrastructure as a Code (ideally AWS CDK or CloudFormation)
AWS ECS, SNS, SQS, XRAY, Lambda, DynamoDB
Comprehensive knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL / T-SQL / Presto)
Solid knowledge of architectural patterns and coding principles
