We are looking for a Senior Data Integration Engineer to join our dynamic Data Practice team and collaborate on EPAM’s strategic projects. As a Senior Data Integration Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in building data systems and applications that drive decision-making. Your main focus will be on developing and maintaining data pipelines and data-driven solutions within public clouds like AWS or Azure. You'll also be involved in migrating data from on-premises data centers to the cloud and building components for enterprise data platforms. If you're ready to take on this challenge and contribute to cutting-edge data projects, we encourage you to apply RESPONSIBILITIES Play a key role in driving forward EPAM strategic data projects Design, build, and manage enterprise data solutions in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure) Develop components for the enterprise data platform to ensure data accuracy and availability Collaborate with data scientists, data architects, and others ensure data needs are met Implement secure and auditable data processes to ensure data integrity Troubleshoot any data-related issues and strive to improve the quality of data systems REQUIREMENTS Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role for at least 3 years Proficiency in SQL and Python Demonstrated experience with Public Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, along with expertise in DBMS and ETL/ELT tools Hands-on experience with Databricks Strong communication skills are essential to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders, ensuring seamless project delivery and alignment Experience in data acquisition through methods like API calls and FTP downloads, as well as expertise in ETL processes and data transformation/normalization from raw to structured schemas Experience in building components for enterprise data platforms like Data Warehouses, Operational Data Stores, and Access layers with APIs and file extracts A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or a related field WE OFFER We gather like-minded people:
