about-project :
The jobholder is a member of a team providing IT support to a business lines. The scope of the work may include network communications, user support, equipment installation and management of IT Infrastructure as well as supervision on IT project matters and contribution in resolving any IT project issues.
Any project exceptions in scope, cost, resource or timescale will be escalated with an appropriate action plan and recommendations to the line management.
The jobholder is expected to contribute with the creation and in forcing of policies and procedures within the IT team. Policy guidelines are derived from GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications), FIMs (File Integrity Monitoring) and other directives of the HSBC Group and local regulatory. The job holder is responsible for supervising, monitoring and controlling computer systems to support the day-to-day operations of the local Bank environment.
The role holder also assists with problem resolution and job scheduling and ensures that strict controls are in place, and are used, to ensure that services are delivered to the standards set out in Service Level Agreements. The jobholder is responsible for ensuring that all IT activities are in line with HSBC Group standards.
responsibilities :
Provide general IT support by solving IT related incidents and resolving IT related work requests
Running IT projects according to their priorities e.g. Apply specialist expertise in the development of bank IT environment with the objective of optimizing operational performance and improving quality whilst increasing cost-effectiveness; Review IT projects with local and Group standards; Provide estimates for basic stage of a project; Prepare documentation of the project so keep all required information up to date
Managing Operational Risk
Working with Polish documentation and cooperation with Polish companies and regulators
Understand and follow best practice and guidance for the optimization of operational performance in the IT Projects running in daily IT operations tasks
requirements-expected :
Proven experience in IT operations, servers, computers, bank systems and projects roles
Appropriate courses associated with IT project management and systems /devices/ maintenance
A University degree
A strong level of technical expertise
Exposure to all stages of the IT processes, from specification & design & testing, through to implementation training and maintenance
IT Project Management best practice (tools and methodology)
An excellent knowledge of the project lifecycle
Knowledge of bank systems, hardware, software upgrade techniques, analysis, group standards and project methodologies
Strong understanding of all aspects of IT support and running IT projects
Broad understanding of Group IT procedures, professional standards and disciplines
Commercial orientation, appreciating the business usage of systems and solutions implemented
Ability to Find logical solutions to problems and manage to resolution
Be able to budget, track and control project expenditure
Ability to prioritize competing demands
Communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate the case for IT investments and alternatives in the language of business
Fluency in spoken and written English and Polish
