Ciklum  is looking for a  Senior SAP Basis Specialist  to join our team full-time in Poland.

Responsibilities As a member of our operation team you play an important role in ensuring the customer’s systems stability and performance
You are responsible for the appropriate and timely handling of incidents
You serve the customer with your professional competence on technical matters around SAP Basis operations

Requirements General:
Fluent conversational English
Proactive approach to build the processes and find the root cause of accruing issues
Contributor’s approach and an eye for solutions and improvements
Technical:
More than 5 years practical experience in SAP system operations in a heterogeneous environment with various database and OS combinations
Practical knowledge of SAP platform architecture
Practical experience of database administration
Experience with new technologies like Sybase and HANA
Practical experience regarding incident analyze and incident solving
Experience regarding SAP System performance analyze and optimization
Competence in the following areas: OS, network, printing and interfaces
More than 5 years in:
SAP Basis administration of SAP Java Stack PI systems, release 7.31
SAP Basis administration of SAP Double Stack PI Systems, release 7.00
SAP PI Basis application configuration and monitoring, especially:
Java process configuration and monitoring (processes and threads utilization, system utilization:
Server Nodes & Instance utilization like CPU, memory, garbage collection)
Configuration and monitoring of SAP PI specific basis parameters: Connection Factory, RFC parameters, Configure load balancing for cross system communication, Java PI service parameters)
Analyzing Java Log Viewer (Expert View)
Monitoring PI Message transfers and analyzing technical issues (IDOC, SOAP, RFC, http/s, FTP error messages)
Experience in supporting PI application teams to solve technical issues
Strong error analysis skills together with structured approach performing RCA analyses and implementing measures to improve system availability
Strong skills working independently in terms of responsibility ensuring system availability (proactively monitoring the systems, identifying measurements to improve system availability and performance, plan & implement improvements in alignment with system owners and application teams)

Desirable SAP technical certifications
Experience with Linux and/or Windows environments
SAP Managed service experience
Conduct and document root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues effectively
Experience with various Databases (Oracle, MSSQL, MaxDB or DB2)

You work well autonomously and without close supervision
