About The Role
Person hired on that position will be responsible for tasks connected with maintenance and evolution of production, test and development infrastructure. This engineer will be responsible for work for all PayU platforms across EMEA region.
What You Will Do
Maintain operating systems of infrastructure and keep this same high SLAServers installation, configuration, software upgrades, etc.Troubleshoot problemsOn-call rotationDevelop automation to quickly and rapidly deploy instances or services from hardened images or pre-configured schemasBuild and use monitoring tools to find problems, resolve and/or escalate to development and ensure that we exceed our SLAsBuild and manage development and testing environments, assisting developers in debugging application issues using toolsParticipate in the building of tools and processes to support the infrastructureContribute to the creation of system support documents such as run books used by our teamsLeverage scripting to build required automation and tools on an adhoc basis.Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 2 years experienceMinimum 3 years experience with LINUX/UNIX platformsVirtualisation platformKubernetesGood English skillsVery good knowledge of Linux / Unix operating systemsPractical knowledge of KubernetesExperience in virtualization and containerization of environmentsGood knowledge of at least one scripting languageExperience in working with version control systems (git)Good knowledge of configuration management systems (puppet, ansible)Good knowledge of load balancer solutions (haproxy)Experience in managing physical serversGood knowledge of servers and protocol HTTPGood command of the English languageadditional advantagespractical knowledge of cloud solutions (AWS, Azure)practical knowledge of monitoring systemspractical knowledge of SANBehavioral Competences
