For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

AI Platform Engineer

Location: remote
Branch: project in Media sector
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: long-term cooperation, first contract for 6 months
Rate: 170 - 185 PLN/h net on B2B
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: business hours
Remote work: 100% remote, occasional travelling is possible
Methodology: Scrum

Tech stack:
AWS, Kafka, Python (FastAPI), SQL, Docker, Spark

Project:
Project for a large client from the IT / Media sector

What will you do:

- Maintain and extend recommendation back-end
- Design, develop, run and evaluate online AB-tests to improve the quality of recommenders
- Support operational excellence through practices like code review and pair programming
- actively monitoring different applications and their infrastructure as well as intervening to solve operational problems whenever they arise
- Keep up with developments in the wide field of Recommendations and Machine Learning

What we expect from you:

- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience connected to AI
- Working knowledge of Python, AWS, Kafka, FAST API, SQL, Docker, Spark
- Very good command of spoken and written English (min. B2)

What would be a plus:

- Higher education in the field of computer science, mathematics or related
- Knowledge of vector databases, collaborative filtering/recommendation systems
