Manager of Cloud Engineering Lead, coach, grow, and support Cloud / DevOps engineers Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and leadership across several time zones Work in with Cloud Technologies in AWS, GCP, and Azure We are looking for candidates based in Wroclaw, Poland or willing to relocate As a Cloud Engineering Manager at SmartBear, you will lead, coach, grow and support Cloud / DevOps engineers primarily for our API portfolio. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to lead a highly skilled team and make a lasting impact by driving technical and process improvements to one of the cornerstones of SmartBear. You will work collaboratively with PMs, Support, Developers, and peer engineering teams to drive business outcomes for SmartBear. About the Role As a Manager of Cloud Engineering, you will: Managing a Cloud Engineering team to optimize quality and velocity of operations Leverage Agile best practices to manage the delivery of software through continuous deployment Ensure proper team focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables Cultivate a culture of curiosity, ingenuity, partnership, speed, innovation, and excellence Writing code is not required, but you must be able to evaluate your engineer's talent/output Plan, Document, and manage major cloud infrastructure projects We are looking for you if you have: 3 years leading Cloud / DevOps teams BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent English at least on B2 Level Knowledge and experience with public and private cloud technologies, preferably AWS Experience with agile software development methodologies Ability to turn high level requirements into actionable plans with projected target dates SmartBear offers: Bonus 10% of annual salary Copyrights deductible costs (creative tax) 300 PLN of annual budget for fitness reimbursement Employee referral program – 10 000 PLN gross for recommendation Birthday Benefit – Employees will be given the day off on their birthday and can expense lunch Summer Fridays - Every Friday in July and August, offices will begin closing at 3 PM, and work hours will end Possibility of remote work, flexible working hours Breakfasts on Wednesdays, Lunches on Fridays and many other snacks in the office during the whole week Buddy program Integration events Worksmile Cafeteria System Access to Pluralsight and LinkedIn Learning Private Medical Care (LuxMed) and Multisport ... and we are working on more ideas Why you should join the SmartBear crew: You can grow your career at every level.
