The Position Job Description: Join our dynamic team as a DevOps engineer specializing in tools for Open Source Compliance within our Inner Source & Open Source office. This role encompasses development tasks primarily focused on Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) generation tools. Who you are: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Experience: 3+ years in a DevOps or similar role with significant experience in CI/CD pipelines beyond basic web services (e.g. for CLIs, tools, or other non-cloud deployments). Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Development Tools: Experience with Java, Maven, and Docker is required.  Experience with Node/NPM and Angular is a plus. Automation Tools: Proficiency in tools like GitLab CI and GitHub actions is a plus, as is proficiency with package managers like GitHub packages SBOM Familiarity: Understanding of SBOMs or similar concepts is nice to have. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues independently. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Preferred Skills (not required but a big plus): Experience with Gitlab/Github, Merge/Pull Request, pipelines, status checks, etc Contribution to open-source projects or personal coding projects.
