We're looking for an experienced Project Manager Join an innovative environment and turn ambitious ideas into reality together with Britenet. We are a European IT company with strong Polish roots, already trusted by more than 200 business partners from all over the world. This time you have the chance to be part of a project related to the development, consulting and support of IT systems for Frontex. The European Border and Coast Guard Agency supports EU Member States and Schengen-associated countries in the management of the EU's external borders and the fight against cross-border crime. Our expectations Min. 5 years of work experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role. Min. 8 years of work experience in the IT field. Experience in leading at least 1 medium-large ICT project as a project manager. Knowledge and experience in applying of project management methodologies and methods. Knowledge and experience in applying Agile methodologies. Possesses a thorough understanding of IT and its application to business needs. Presents excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce high quality written material and presentations for a variety of audiences. Aligns his work easily to the changing environment, is able to work effectively in a variety of situations, seeks improvements and proactively looks to further improvements. Presents strong problem-solving skills. Displays strong leadership. Possesses the ability to work effectively with colleagues, managers and suppliers. At least 1 certification among: PRINCE2 Practitioner or Project Management Professional (PMP), PM2 Essential, PM2 Advanced or an equivalent certification recognized internationally. Open to hybrid work from Warsaw. English proficiency at minimum C1 level. Nice to have Experience in Data Privacy, DPIA, Business Continuity, and Information Security Risk Assessment, preferably within EU Institutions. Experience working in the public sector, ideally in international organizations or EU Institutions. Main responsibilities Manages effectively and efficiently the project within its complete lifecycle and scope. Establishes and manages project controls in order to ensure that the milestones are met and project products delivered on time and within scope and the business goals are enabled. Assures and controls quality of the project deliverables. Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of the project. Liaise with Project Board and other key stakeholders. Assigns and controls the tasks, authorizes work packages, balance priorities and workload in the team, motivates project team members. Plans and controls project products delivery processes. Manages effective communication within the project and with external environment of the project. Produces project management products (like plans, logs, schedules). Defines the responsibilities of parties involved in the project. Prepares and presents oral and written technical reports and project presentations. Organizes and conducts project meetings.
