about-project :

- We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong backend expertise and good knowledge of German to join a long-term project in the financial sector. You’ll be part of an Agile team modernizing and digitizing banking applications used by more than 150,000 workstations and 4,500 employees.
- Your work will focus on building and maintaining Java-based applications (Spring, microservices), refactoring existing modules, and integrating Angular Web Components with a headless CMS. The role involves direct collaboration with German-speaking business stakeholders.
- Location: 100% remote (Poland-based)
- Capacity: Full-time, 12-month contract

responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain Java-based applications in a financial environment
- Refactor existing modules and improve system maintainability
- Work with microservices and API-driven architecture
- Integrate Angular Web Components with a headless CMS
- Collaborate directly with German-speaking stakeholders in an Agile setup

requirements-expected :

- 5+ years of experience in Java
- Strong knowledge of Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring Data, SOLID principles, and design patterns (API-driven mindset)
- Experience with relational databases and ORM (JPA/Hibernate)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- English and German at a good working level
