For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

Senior Java Developer

Location: remote / Warsaw
Branch: project in Agribusiness sector
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: long-term cooperation, first contract 3-4 months
Rate: 130-160 PLN/h net on B2B
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: Business working hours
Remote work: 100% remote, occasional visits only
Methodology: Scrum

Tech stack:
Java 1.8, JEE, Swing, JForms, Java Web Start, Hibernate, JBoss, Tomcat, Oracle, Jasper Reports, BitBucket, Bamboo

Project:
Development of internal solution for a large client from the IT /
agribusiness sector

What will you do:

- implement change request and platform enhancements based on business needs
- work on implementations
- collaborate on device integration at Client's locations in Europe
- troubleshooting production issues related to availability and performance
- collaborate with Client's infrastructure and network teams to address issues related to their areas of business
- conceptual and implementation work on modernization and refactoring of the system

What we expect from you:

- 5+ years of development experience as A Java Developer
- Commercial Experience with Java Enterprise Edition (JEE)
- experience in Oracle DBs
- ability to improve the code in small steps and work with monolith application
- English at a level that allows for free communication in speech and writing
- independence at work
- the ability to approach the problem in a holistic way, looking for effective solutions taking into account time and technological constraint
- a sense of responsibility for one's own and the team's work

What would be a plus:

- Higher education in the field of computer science, mathematics or related
- experience in communication with IoT/hardware devices (sensors, scales, barriers, actuators)
