Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to ensure seamless and reliable deployments.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (AKS in Azure) and Helm charts for scalability and orchestration.
- Optimize and manage Azure SaaS services, including Blob Storage, Kafka, Cassandra, SQL Server, PostgreSQL (Flexiserver), and Azure Firewall.
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure performance using Grafana and Prometheus, ensuring systems meet performance and uptime standards.
- Work extensively with networking concepts to ensure seamless communication and low-latency performance between microservices.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with application needs and scaling requirements.
- Ensure system security and compliance by applying best practices in firewall, networking, and cloud configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a distributed system environment, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.
- Continuously optimize infrastructure to improve system reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in DevOps, cloud technologies, and infrastructure best practices, applying them to improve the platform systems.

- CI/CD: Azure DevOps
- Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes (AKS in Azure), Helm
- Cloud Services: Azure SaaS (Blob Storage, Kafka, Cassandra, SQL Server, PostgreSQL Flexiserver, Firewall)
- Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus
- Networking: Microservices communication optimization and troubleshooting

Requirements

You Will Thrive in This Role If:

- You have 6+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with hands-on expertise in Azure DevOps and Kubernetes.
- You have strong experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management and configuration.
- You have a deep understanding of networking principles and can troubleshoot and optimize communication between microservices.
- You are proficient in monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus, with the ability to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
- You have experience working with distributed systems, particularly with Kafka, Cassandra, and PostgreSQL.
- You are a proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of challenges and delivers innovative solutions.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, value team input, and align with project goals.
- Experience in the fintech industry is a strong plus.
